  I used Ms. King for a post divorce modification of child custody. Her rates appear to be more or less the same as most attorneys in town, and she is worth every cent. Celeste was very pleasant, honest and straightforward to work with. Our case was time sensitive and she was able to get filings done and hearing dates scheduled very quickly. She got amazing results with our case, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

  I would highly recommend Celeste King to anyone fighting for their children's lives. My son's case was very complicated due to the original custody order being processed out of state (it also involved an extremely hostile third party that she and her legal assistant were forced to deal with). From our very first phone conversation Celeste put me at ease with her sense of concern and urgency for the safety and well-being of my son. She kept me informed of my options and the potential outcomes throughout the entire process. I was quickly awarded full custody and we are now in the final stages of voluntary termination and step-parent adoption. Celeste King operates with the uppermost integrity and humility, and her commitment to family values is evident. She saved my son's life and we are forever grateful for her services.

  Celeste lied to the court about when I was aupposedly served paperwork, she also allowed her client (ex wife) to submit false information in regards to my address, she refuses to give me any paperwork in regards to my case, I lost custody of my son because of this crooked attorney. At my first court hearing in Bryan (child support modification) she began asking questions that made me uncomfortable without my attorney- I specifically asked that we postpone the hearing until I had my attorney present because the paperwork I was served stated it was strictly a support modification hearing. Celeste refused and was adamant that this was strictly over child support and they weren't changing any custody issues. 2 months later I found out that Celeste had certified to the court that she had served me paperwork at that hearing, but court records say I was served 2 days after in the state of Texas (when I wasn't even in the state) I ultimately missed my court date and a default judgement was made against me- had I known that I had a court date even if I wasn't properly served I don't care- I would have been there to fight for my son. Celeste helps to perpetuate the war on dads, and allow children to be emotionally abused by the other parent. I would never EVER hire an attorney such as Celeste as she lacks compassion as well as any moral compass, and has zero empathy for any family in stuck in the Hell that is the family court system in Texas. Shes only interested in money, not what is actually best for the child.

  Celeste worked on my daughters child custody situation. NEVER have I seen a more uncaring, unresponsive, incompetent, money hungry lawyer. No returned phone calls. No returned emails. No caring. NOTHING. But requests for more money. And when the money was gone she quit. Thank goodness. This lady is the worst there is.

  Firstly MS King's clerks (as she has had three in the past six months) have all been rude, and not had any professional adequacy when talking with customers or clients. This should have been a first indicator when the first clerk answered the phone, “hello.” We adopted our Son from another country and found out that it would be best to re-adopt him in the US to prevent us from having to travel back to his home country in the event any legal issues arose. We scheduled a consultation where we paid our fees, all up front, and then waited as we were instructed to get all of our final paperwork with our Son’s name changed. Well… His name was wrong on the paperwork, so my wife, went to discuss this with MS King, which is impossible to get an appointment with. When she got there, the current clerk said that they could fix everything, and re-order a birth certificate and have it mailed to our house. This is where it get’s interesting. My wife was told that it would take 6-8 weeks for everything to be received on our end. Three months later, she called and asked what was going on. There was a new clerk, who stated that we declined the service and that the case was closed. After hearing this, I called and asked to speak with MS King and was informed that, “she isn’t speaking to you or your wife, this case is closed.” I said, this doesn’t sound right, so I will come up there and we can discuss it in person. (My background) I am in the military and have never had a criminal record. I also worked in customer service as a manager for Wal-Mart where we learned that, if the company did something wrong, or incorrectly, then it needs to be fixed as a top priority. I will not continue to go on, I think you get the point. I showed up at the office 15 minutes later, and wasn’t allowed to enter the office. I had to speak with the latest clerk, thru the glass door. I have never in my life been treated like a criminal. Nor have I been treated so rudely by anyone. I was told that after speaking with her over the phone, I hung up on her, which I didn’t, and that she took that as a threat. I don’t know what to say other than I defiantly don’t recommend Celeste King or her services to anyone unless you want the most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered. I read the website and it is very deceiving, don’t be fooled by slogans or smoothly written literature. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS LAWYER!
